Past trips
in Badlands National Park, South Dakota
This campground offers flushable toilets and a beautiful landscape. Love the stars? You can see the milleay and hear coyotes in the distance. Close to the ranger station and multiple hiking trails.
in Death Valley National Park, California
Flushable toilets but no cooling system. In a place like death valley, a closed up bathroom makes it feel like a heat box when you're in there. Close to a ranger station, general store, and eatery.
in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
Cannot recommend mather enough! Loved this campground. Expect large crowds...it is the grand canyon after all. But the bathrooms are some of the cleanest I have ever seen and the surrounding guest are respectful of your space and time of night/day.
in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah
It's rocky on the tent pad and it could use some landscaping, but the bathrooms were fairly clear and the sites are spaced apart for some privacy. The sites are also huge! We could have had two more tents with us.
in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah
The site we had was gorgeous, tucked back in a tree lined area. The restrooms leave much to be desired and it's right beside the dumpsters, but the showers were hot and there were plenty to not have to wait.
