Past trip
in San Juan National Forest, ColoradoThis campsite was an absolute gem! Just off the highway, but tucked away enough to not hear any road noise and have complete peace. I planned to be there for 2 days and extended to 4. It was wonderful. Clean spots, also private spots. I felt comfortable changing in the openness of my spot because there were enough trees to deter any onlookers. Vault toilets and drinking water provided. Trash collection, as well! Which I loved, having been on the road for a week prior to this stay.

in Zion National Park, UtahWatchman was a great stay. It's definitely the most popular site in Zion, so you're taking the crowds along with the rest you seek. I was there for two nights, and it was a peaceful stay. I spent most of my time in the area hiking, but when I was there I was able to make food, read, have a beer, relax and enjoy the amazing weather. Picnic table in my spot, plenty of space to pitch my tent, parking spot with my site, bathroom facilities not too far from any site. Good spot if you're ok with a little more public interaction.
Dani hasn't gone on any trips yet.
