The fringe land is old farm land now being repurposed for outdoor activities. The RV Park is the developed part of an old Farm planted in pines bordering Big Creek/Lake Murray.

I've been doing a lot of gravel riding on my bicycle, and this site is perfect for it. Big Creek RV is conveniently located right next to the roads I've been riding. I can't wait to take a kayak next time since it's situated right by the water.

Big Creek RV Park site 7

The campground was in immaculate condition. The heated restroom was clean as well as the heated shower room. The campsite was cleared of leaves and covered in a beautiful moss. The instructions on how to get to the spot were very clear. I am looking forward to returning.
