The site is well grassed and provides abundant shade from the overhead canopy. Best shade is in the morning when you want to sleep in. There is a tranquil creek on the eastern side of the camp and horses and hand reared cattle graze on the western paddock. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Bring some books, set up a hammock and laze the days away. Beaches on the coast and beautiful Jervis Bay are 20 Minutes away. The Jervis Bay region has much to offer so if you're up for adventure, bring your kayaks and snorkelling gear. Our beaches have the whitest sand in the world. Why not check out the dolphin and whale cruises and get up and personal with the marine life.The property is 3 km off the Princes Hwy. We are located 8 kilometres off the Princes Highway and we DO recommend 4wd as there is 5 kilometres of rough dirt road with 3 creek crossings that can be flooded in heavy rains. Dogs are accepted but Must be kept on a leash as we have an abundance of wildlife, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and birds, as well as our own dogs, horses, pigs, goats and a cat. Please be aware of wombat holes. As well as snakes.

A very pretty spot between cows and a forest on the other side, which actually creates shade in the morning for those who want to sleep longer. The host is very kind and came to say hello and give some tips about the area. There are no toilets or running water, so be prepared.

The property and site ticks all the boxes. Lovely short green grassy spot easily accessible with dual axel van and 4WD. A perfect and private retreat with ultimate security and safety Elsie was the perfect host and very accommodating of our needs. About 10 minutes drive to Milton. I would definately stay there again. Elsie was a wonderful host and her property is amazing. The powered site was an added luxury but provided us with extra comforts. The dogs welcomed us daily and the girls enjoyed seeing the horses. Would highly recommend.

I loved the tent camp site here! Site was on nice grass and far enough away from other sites that it felt really private! Sites were close to all the animals and we loved the sounds of them all!

Wandy Donkey Camp was a fantastic spot for tent camping. Beautiful scenery and the large paddock meant it felt very private even with other campers sharing the space because everyone was able to spread out. Kate was an excellent host. Unfortunately we didn't meet the donkeys on this visit but will hopefully be back!

We stayed 10 days and it was fantastic. Elsie has a beautiful property and we found this site to be private and tucked away which was exactly what we needed. The town of Milton is just 5mins away where you have restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc. Also the Showgrounds also in town is great to fill up with water and dump spot. Thank you Elsie for sharing your property with us 😊

Amazing place, super quick and easy to get to but feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Pitch was huge, so much space. Great facilities incl fire pit, bbq, big table and chairs, composting toilet, water to wash hands and even a little smores package on arrival! Can’t wait to come back

Ian met us at the camp as we arrived, showed us around, had a chat and a laugh. We met Nigel and Mavis, Ian’s two little dogs, that also came down to make sure we were alright! The camping space was lovely, well maintained, freshly mowed grass, fire pits and the two spots had access to a few stacks of firewood around the camp. The spot we chose was the first as you drive in, overlooking the creek. Quite a large space, which fit our 17’ caravan no problems at all. We had a few cows and sheep nearby to give us a nice country feel, kookaburras laughing, an occasional Rooster crow and Nigel and Mavis showing up periodically to check on us and let us know the perimeter was secure. One tip; don’t go down Wandian road, the dirt road turnoff from the Princes Hwy, take the sealed road turnoff close to the Servos! The dirt road is wild, especially pulling a 17’ caravan!! Well done Ian, you a great host and a legend. Would recommend the camp A+ 9/10

We loved staying at the Wandy Donkey camp! Perfect quiet camping spot but still a super close drive to all the best beaches and spots in Jervis bay. Loved the fire pit/ firewood provided. Will definitely be back if we’re in the area.

Kate and Dave were the most amazing hosts and the Camp was the best we’ve stayed at! The different camperes were placed far apart so it felt like we had the entire ground to ourselves - and we were placed so we were looking right at the cows which was amazing. In the morning we were able to meet and pet all the animals on the farm which was an amazing experience ❤️ Fuerthermore they were amazing at showing us the stingrays and how to feed them. Again thank you so much both of you! We definitely recommend this camp😃 Best regard Cathrine and Victor
