Please note that, unfortunately, due to safety concerns, we ask that you don't camp directly by the river. However, you're more than welcome to head down there to enjoy during the day! Indulge in this exclusive, heritage riverside property located on the upper Shoalhaven River. Private use of the 22.2 hectares of farm, forest and river frontage. You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet and shower. Relax, nurture and cosy up at The Nest. Revitalise in the tranquil garden with river views. Stroll to the banks of the Shoalhaven river, climb Pulpit Rock. Whether you're into painting, sketching or photography, this is an artist's retreat. Our property is a 30 minute drive to beautiful Berry, Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley and Milton. There are many varied beautiful walking tracks here in the Shoalhaven. Firstly an intermediate walk is just off Bamarang Road to Pulpit Rock which overlooks the Shoalhaven River and Bundanon. Ben's Walk, Hanging Rock, Nowra, The Grotto, Bomaderry, Jervis Bay National Park, Greenfield Beach, Wirreecoo Walking Trail & Mangrove boardwalk, Huskisson, Cunjurong Point, Gerroa to Kiama along the cliffside, Pigeon House Mountain, Boyd Lookout, Morton National Park. The Barn is used as a venue for a variety of day workshops. The River Studio is often occupied by the workshop presenter/artist. Short stays only. You will need to be self-contained with your own camping toilet and shower. However, if you're unable to provide them, we can provide facilities at an additional cost. NOTE: Drive to road conditions at all times as Bamarang Road is a dirt road. Well maintained but has been subjected to severe rainfall with some infrastructure being repaired by local roadworks. Google can assist in this matter. Relax, nurture, and cosy up at The Nest Camp-site, revitalise in the tranquil farm surrounds and the Shoalhaven River. The Bell Tent, to the north east of the camp site, is an extra for shelter if required by camper's. Enjoy the serenity of the Shoalhaven river, climb Pulpit Rock. Such a relaxing space. Lots of wildlife including lots if wombats. Beautiful river for kyaking/fishing. Overall just very pleasant.
