During the heat of the summer, there’s no better place to cool off than Scout Lake—we swear (scout’s honor)! The 10 campsites at Scout Lake Campground are conveniently close to the day use area, which is a popular swimming spot on the lake. If you can gather up enough friends, reserve one of the double or group sites. And if you’re really popular, you and your 100 closest friends could rent out the whole campground! Before you pack up your car and stuff in your BFFs, check the campground website for important info on closures and alerts.
