Posted along the sky blue Ashley Lake, you can pass the time fishing, swimming, boating, and paddlin’ out into this mountainous paradise. Keep in mind this campground is bare bones, so you’re going to need to bring the H2O and pack your trash out. No camping trip is complete without your darling doggie, so bring ‘em along to keep you company by the fire as the sun sets.

Watch for deers the when going down the 8 miles from the highway, because they are numerous and will randomly jump out. Summertimes are busy so try to get there early afternoon on Fridays and you should be good throughout the week. This is a free campground!
