We offer a peaceful setting with a wonderful lake view. You can fish for crappie, bass, catfish, blue gil, goggleye and perch. Take a hike around the farm and maybe see some cows and wildlife. Or sit around a camp fire telling stories and enjoying the stars.
I got there after dark and I left first thing in the morning, but I will tell you that it was a very peaceful place to be, Very clean and a wonderful place to wake up in in the morning, so yes, I would recommend this
Pros:
Beautiful view of the lake. Plenty of open space for placing your tent. An awesome fireplace with a pile of wood prepared and ready. Convenient pavilion with plenty of seating and electricity, the lighting was plus as well. The place was easy to find, I have AT&T and had phone service the whole trip for anyone worried about losing service.
Cons:
The portapotty was not well maintained and the spiders stare at you while do your business. A lot of neighboring dogs howling along with the coyotes all night. I only caught one fish but that’s due to poor shore fishing. I’m sure someone with a kayak/canoe would have better luck.
It was really a very good experience! We feel good and safe. It was just a little complicated to find the location but a neighbor helped us!
