We live on 40 acres that are a mix of woods, open area, and farm land. We have a diverse mix of trees, wildlife, land to explore and a fruit and vegetable farm to tour. We have a pond where you can sit and listen to the frogs and watch the turtles, ducks and many other types of wildlife. We have wild apple trees to pick from and our property backs up to a trail where you can access town or other trail systems. We live up the road from Hungarian Falls, a beautiful preserve where you can hike, swim and view several waterfalls. We live about 7 minutes from Calumet. Calumet has a wonderful downtown and is also a part of the Keweenaw National Historic Park. Calumet is home to the Calumet Lions Park that has a disc golf course, nature trails and horseshoe pits, and Swedetown Recreation Area that has mountain bike and hiking trails. We are also about 2 minutes from the Calumet Golf Course. Calumet also has Calumet Township Waterworks park which has volleyball, basketball, places to picnic and is on the shores Lake Superior. If you head south we live within a half hour of Nara Nature Park, Michigan Tech Trails, Maasto Hiihto Trails, Portage Canal, and many other outdoor adventure sites. Mt. Bohemia is 40 minutes north and and Copper Harbor is just beyond that. Copper Harbor has many more options for outdoor adventures and stunning views of Lake Superior. Although we are close to several towns, we live in a secluded area with few neighbors so you feel like you have the place to yourself.Enjoy your stay in a secluded area surround by apple trees and woods. You will have a picnic table, campfire area, and a few simple amenities located on site. Your camp site is completely private with only views of nature. You will see a sign saying 'Apple Tree Campsite' at the end of the drive, towards the right, pointing you towards the site. Follow that sign and you will then see an arrow pointing you to the parking spot. You will be able to park about 100 ft from the site. A port a potty is located a few yards away, back at the top of the driveway directly across from the garage. We have 40 acres of land to explore and apples to pick during the season. We have 2 acres of active farm land for you to check out. Please note we work on the farm as our main job and are very busy. You may take a self guided tour of the farm, but we will not be able to spend time out of our workday to give tours, visit or answer questions. Our farm stand is open Tuesdays from 3-6pm for your fresh produce needs. Contact us ahead of time if you would like to place a produce order for your stay. We live in an old mining town so you will be able to find lots of mine ruins, hoists and many other historical sites around town. A 5 minute drive away you will find Hungarian Falls, a beautiful preserve where you can hike, swim and enjoy the waterfalls. About 10 minutes away you will find several recreation areas. Swedetown Recreation Area has hiking and biking trails. Calumet Lions Park which is on a lake has trails, a disc golf course and more. Historic downtown Calumet is also less than a 10 minute drive and has shops, cafes, art galleries and more. Within a half hour of your camp site you will find countless places to hike, bike, swim, paddle, shop eat and explore. Take a tour of Quincy Mine Hoist in Hancock, about 10 minutes away. Head up to Copper Harbor for their incredible mountain bike trails, views of Lake Superior and great restaurants. Hit up the hot tubs at the Mt. Bohemia Ski Resort, just 40 minutes north of us, and about 15 minutes before you reach Copper Harbor.

Perfect spot!
Tent
Such a great site! Very large and private. Really nice to have a picnic table and a few chairs to use. Wonderful they have a fire pit there. The dark sky was excellent for our Aurora Borealis watching. The trees all around were beautiful at this time of year.

The site was a perfect tent site. It was quiet and neatly mowed. Very clean outhouse also. The grounds were very fun to explore. Would definitely go again.

We had a great time! Hosts Ashley and Jake were very friendly on the couple of occasions we crossed paths. They left us a cooler of water and a container with newspaper and a lighter for the fire. The site also had a picnic table, a fire pit, and a few plastic chairs. The space was very private and well-groomed and there’s plenty of their cute farm to explore! The site has a bit of a slope, but flattens out towards the back so there’s still a comfy spot to put a small - midsize tent.
