Before you even get to your spot at Siskiwit Bay Campground, you’re gonna have an adventure!

Hike along the Feldtmann Ridge, or Greenstone Ridge or take your boat around the south side of the island to arrive at your overnight spot in style. Pop your tent along the shores of the bay or spend the night in one of the campgrounds shelters. From there you have access Houghton Ridge or Lake Halloran for daytime shenanigans and lots of stars in the sky for a restful night fireside. You’ll have to supply your own water and all your gear, but Siskiwit Bay is the perfect spot for those who want to experience all the best parts of Isle Royale.

Our campsite is nestled in mixed northern hardwoods and conifers with over a dozen species of trees around the camp area. The site is graced by a large old Oak tree and many larger Maple and Birch making it a well shaded site and protected from wind. A wildlife pond is near the tent sites which hosts frogs and turtles and an occasional passing beaver, otter or muskrat. Deer and Turkey are frequently seen and the area is on migration pathways for Raptures and many songbirds. The site is a few hundred feet from the Northwest corner of Farmers Block Road and is an ideal base camp for biking, hiking, paddling and fishing adventures in Keweenaw County. Only one mile from Lake Superior and the Gratiot River - many outdoor activities are easily accessible. Additional flat tent site undeveloped are close to the site if you have a larger group and need more tent pads let us know and we will try to accomodate you.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy pristine Cedar Bay on Lake Superior from the comfort of a vintage Airstream Argosy! There are 200 feet of private beach access as well as trails that connect through the 10 back acres to the Black Creek Nature Preserve. The property faces directly west which provides amazing sunsets year round over lake Superior. You will have access to the deck overlooking the dunes and lake. We regularly see Bald Eagles and deer as well as loons. Because of it's location near the end of a dead-end road, most mornings you will awaken to the sounds of birds and waves. This is the perfect place to disconnect from the world but if you need to connect there is also Starlink internet access.

Site 4 with fire ring. A spacious site with three good tent pad locations. Logs around the fire ring weren't the greatest, however.
