Bradbury Mountain Campground

Just a half-hour drive from Portland, Bradbury Mountain is tame in comparison to many of the wild places across the state. The bonus? It’s got rockin’ amenities for folks that need that hot shower after a night under the stars. This park may be small, but it’s big on beauty. MIles and miles of trails do not discriminate and are open to all of you—mountain bikers, hikers, and horseback riders. Expansive views from the summit will make you wish you’d remembered your camera (don’t forget!). You’ll find that the campground gets crowded on summer and fall weekends, but as soon as you hit the trails, you’re alone with the forest.
