Rustic natural getaway
25 ft pop-up camper · Group trip
We’re avid Hipcamp users who love getting out in nature, and this campground was a perfect escape! We usually go off-grid, and this site gave us that peaceful, rustic vibe we love. The view over the natural pond made for the best morning start, and we enjoyed having a local restaurant/bar right across the road with great food – perfect for when we wanted to relax after a day outdoors. We noticed they’ve started adding amenities like water and electric, and we’re excited to see how those come along. We hope they keep that rustic charm for those of us who want a true getaway. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Had to call the host for directions to the campground & advised someone will drop by for check in, but it was a no show. The host gave me another address to find the location of the campground. It was Hard to find the campground because it was across the way from the address that was given. The campground signage was hidden from the overgrown bush, which was hard to see while driving & no lights for better visibilty at night. The pond needs a lot of maintenance due to overgrown water lilies that covered most of the pond area to enjoy for swimming or other water activities. There are a lot of dead tree branches that were not cut down for safety purposes. The experience was not what I expected based on the value of the rental rate of this campground. This campsite does not meet camping expectations. It was a clean campground with new development in progress, but that's about all that was good.

Nice place, quiet and scenic. Bar/restaurant with great food and service very close by and that was a bonus. Just needed a place to set up a tent and have a campfire and it was just perfect. Picnic tables, fire ring, and clean porta potty too.

I absolutely love the land that we camped on. It was extremely quiet, very serene, and it had a beautiful view of the nature. There is a large pond that is big enough to swim in that was absolutely beautiful. We were able to camp right near the water, which is really hard to find. The Groundsman made sure we were well taken care of and was extremely considerate. I highly recommend trying this campsite. Every site had water and electricity, and it was so nice. It was out of all the chaos of being in the Dells, but the location was perfect. Everything was 20 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay. We didn’t wanna leave. 🐶 They also allow pets and my dog loved the area. There was lots for him to explore.
