A beautiful weekend escape
16 ft travel trailer
We had a lovely weekend getaway at this beautiful Hipcamp site! The surroundings were stunning, with a field of yellow flowers blooming everywhere this time of the year! Being close to the horses added a special touch to our experience. The night sky was absolutely breathtaking—perfect for stargazing, though it did get a bit chilly! Our host Debbie was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

Great place, Olie 🐕 loves fetch 🥏
Tent · Group trip
Great spot, thanks Debbie and Ollie! Ollie is the office camp dog greater and entertainment- Loves to fetch, looses his sticks and balls often, and will find another replacement quickly. What we loved, plenty of space for tents, ground level, nice shade with the trees. Easy access into the farm. Several Horses that wanted Carrots 🥕 Rooster 🐓 will keep you informed of the time, better than any city siren 🚨. Will come again, 45 Min from Dwellingup and less then 2 hours from Perth city. Simple drive down Albany Hwy. Local town Boddington has a nice atmosphere, relaxing river walk and IGA. Phone reception is poor to OK, depending on the wind and what area you are in. Close to the Horses seems to get better reception (for myself).

Debbie was very responsive, and very welcoming when I arrived, which was lovely as I was absolutely shattered. A couple of friendly dogs, one of them (Ollie) came to say hi a couple of times. Lots of horses in the neighbouring paddocks, with the occasional neigh, very homely feeling. The allocated camp spot is ample in size, surrounded by some olive trees, so plenty of shade, however is quite close by to the homestead, so if you’re looking to feel secluded perhaps not for you. All in all, a lovely stay! 😊

Idyllic sights and sounds of nature
19 ft travel trailer · With kids
Our camp was nestled within the olive trees, Crossman Farm offered the idyllic sights and sounds of nature. Picturesque views of paddocks and hills, in the presence of horses, chickens, and the friendly Ollie the dog, created a charming and rustic atmosphere. Far enough from Albany Hwy allowing us to immerse ourselves in the tranquillity of the place, but close enough to pop down and explore the Quinny and Boddington. Crossman Farm provides a serene retreat, a refreshing escape from the city complemented by the gentle rustle of leaves and the occasional neigh of the many horses.
