All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
A very peaceful place to get away from the hectic city life and enjoy nature. Children and pet friendly. Build a campfire under the stars and relax.  Large camping site and beautiful mountain views.  Acres of trails great for biking and hiking. Also a pond for catch and release fishing. This is private property, so it is not what you would expect from a "camp ground". The site is very secluded and private. If you are looking for quiet, this is your place! We are within an hour of Pipestem State Park. Other sites in driving distance are the New River Gorge, Babcock State Park, and Winterplace. We will greet you at check in and guide you to the camp site. Also, all of your firewood is included! You will want to bring ‘starter logs’.A very peaceful place to get away from the hectic city life and enjoy nature. Children and pet friendly.  The campsite is a short drive through the woods. You will have a beautiful open field all to yourself! If the night is clear, the stars may put on a show for you or perhaps the fireflies. There is a firepit for your camp fire and a gas grill for you to cook on. The fur babies love the open space to run and play in, so do the kids!

Private and peaceful
Tent
The site is beautiful and matches the description and photos. It's a large open field with views to the south that feels like a private valley with only a partial, obstructed view of a roof maybe a quarter mile away. Someone to the southeast has dogs, but they don't constantly bark -- i think they just bark when being fed. There is a little light on the horizon from Princeton, but still a great view of the sky and stars at night. It's an easy drive to multiple state parks or the New River Gorge area with lots of hiking options and scenic views.

Nice secluded and private spot.

Nice and peaceful. The owner met me at the gate and took me back to the site. He already had wood there, some citronella tiki torches, etc. It felt private and had a restful time there. There are some places to hike near by and I tried a 6 mile hike on the Mary Ingles Trail in Virginia, but it was only a few miles away.

This is an exceptional site located in a field after traveling through an expanse of woods. Very private with mountain views all around. The host met us at the gate and led us to the campsite. We couldn't have been happier with this location and we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place with private campsite. Beautiful field all to itself with nice mountain views. They had a load of firewood ready and waiting for us. Our dogs loved it as well. Would highly recommend!

This camping spot is gorgeous! Beverly and Tom were great hosts and so sweet to help me get settled at the spot. There was everything I could need and so much room for my pup Zeus to explore! It’s private behind the trees but the space you have is wide open for stargazing! I can’t wait to be back!

Surely a hidden gem! Nothing but mountains all around, I camped for 3 days and it was beautiful! My car wouldnt reach the campsite but they had a 4x4 to carry my things for me. Great for Friends/Family.
