Beautiful spot on the Shenandoah River....you will see eagles, deer, ospreys, beaver and numerous other critters. Great fishing, boating and swimming not to mention the views. Lots of local cuisine and pubs. Flea markets and BBQ on the roadside and for those who dare the casino and horse racing!!!...
Each site has a picnic table, firepit and pavilion canopies for creature comfort. We do have firewood available along with boat rentals. All boat rentals and firewood are cash only. Please limit glass containers. We no longer allow outside firewood coming in as we have had guests bring pressure treated wood and all sorts of junk wood and the next guests are trying to cook over nasty residues on the sides of the firepits. Thanks for your understanding!
Dutch and his other half were so nice and accommodating. The sites were well maintained, spaced out with a beautiful view. Porta johns were clean. Would totally recommend this site and will likely come again.
Loved staying at site 3! Beautiful location next to the Shenandoah River. Secluded but close to amenities, history, and nature. Would absolutely stay again.
Another great stay! Really appreciate the laid back vibe and the weather and site were great. Even though Hurricane Helene had just come through and it had been raining for ages in the area, the land wasn’t muddy. Having wood at the site was clutch too, nice to not have to stop on the drive in. We saw deer, which was just so cool.
Download a Google map ahead of time as service is spotty throughout Harper’s Ferry.
We have a wonderful time even in the rain. Dutch was responsive and a great host. Loved the view of the river. Will go back again and take our kayaks or rent some from Dutch.
Dutch was a good host the place is clean and the river was steps away from the site.
