It's loaded with glowing beautiful algae. You can kayak or wade in the water or boat. Movement makes it glow. The water is super calm there so it's the best place to see it. The waves are tiny which is perfect for seeing glowing waves. It really is Beautiful. This unique destination at 62 Howard Road Port Angeles WA 98363 is a short two miles west of joyce WA. And only one mile east of Reynolds rd. Beach access. another quarter miles is lyre river state park. Half a miles more you will find Murdoch beach, and following that is Sadie crk. O.R.V. park as well as the Discovery trail just a few min away. Non stop fishing action along the accessible waterfront. Freshwater fun at lake Cresent as well as lake Sutherland.. Cozy Spot and Great Host
Aimee was a great host! Someone had accidentally set up camp in our reserved spot before we arrived and we weren’t sure what to do. Aimee came to help us out immediately! She gave us multiple options for alternative camp spots for the night, including a site with a beach, and even fully refunded our stay. We appreciated her hospitality. We are looking forward to going back!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Love Birds tent. It was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect for our base camp to explore the Olympic National forest.

Cozy, warm and dry canvas tent.
Camping with a huge canvas tent completely set up for you with a made bed is a game changer for camping with my family. We LOVED this, even with the burn ban we had during our stay. Just bring a propane “fire pit” (Coleman makes a good one) and you’re good to go. Aimee was incredibly helpful and hospitable, lovely host. The bed was very comfortable and warm. Portapotty, ice, fresh eggs, water and hand washing station all nearby. A great experience. We’ll be back 👍
