My young family and I recently bought the hobby farm of our dreams and would like to share it! A natural stream pops right out of the hill and feeds our duck/trout pond. Goats chickens and our horse named Summer roam the property and are friendly, especially with treats in hand! Learn more about this land: Multiple areas to pitch a tent around our pond, pasture, hay field, down by the pond itself, or up with a view at the very top of the farm. We've got Chickens, Ducks, Angora and Nigora goats, an Arabian horse named Summer, and a minihorse names Pie... all roaming different parts of the property. Make yourself at home on the farm and enjoy the setting without the work!Multiple areas to pitch a tent around our pond, pasture, hay field, down by the pond itself, or up with a view at the very top of the farm. What a great camping spot! Tons of space, close to some wonderful state parks, and excellent hosts. Highly recommended.

Hospitable
Group trip
Patrick and family were great hosts. Knowledgable, hospitable, and kind. Their property was in a rural location, but not far from a grocery store. We'd highly recommend visiting their site.

Beautiful property, friendly host, and easy to find. Their horses are very friendly. It took my dogs a little bit to warm up to them. The site is on a hill and it was hard to find a level place to sleep. There were lumps, so I did not set up tent. The property is beautiful and it is in a great location.

Epic Beauty and Animal Happiness.
Group trip
It was beautiful and welcoming to stay at Hobby Farm Retreat. We have 3 kids and Piper really spent time teaching them about the farm and how to be around the animals. What a cool kid! Horses every day and every night, Summer was so sweet and gentle, the kids were ecstatic to ride her, and I was so happy to pet her in the evenings while the horses grazed right by our camp. Great hosts talked with us about farming and gave great recommendations for beautiful water spots to beat the heat nearby, gorgeous days! We loved the baby koi fish, hanging with the chickens, jumping on the trampoline and even spotted a few hot air balloons and shooting stars. Our dogs were happy and tired every day. This place is a gem and the family is super gracious, can't wait to book and come back again someday (then I'll get MY horse ride!!)

Cool place to stay as an alternative to traditional camping. Glad we had a trailer as I’m not sure a tent would have been the best with uneven ground. Super friendly and thoughtful hosts! And fun animals to visit too.

We were there for a day trip and loved the hosts hospitality! Our little one got to ride horses, play with their daughter on the trampoline and roam the grounds!
