Jim's campsite offers stunning views and a peaceful environment, making it a favorite among campers. Many have praised the clean and spacious sites with full hookups, which add to the convenience of the stay. While some guests noted minor inconveniences like the positioning of water and sewer hookups or excessive lighting affecting stargazing, these didn't seem to overshadow the overall positive experience. The access to nearby trails and the opportunity to observe wildlife enhance the allure of this location.
Very level, easy to back in site. Beautiful views. Nice hookups. Only issue is the water valve is basically in the gravel so it's hard to connect your water hose. Minor inconvenience and you only need to do it once, so just book Jims place and enjoy the view!
While it was a bit windy the few days we were there, we got to enjoy some snow as well as bald eagles sweeping the horizon over the river. We will visit again during the warmer months to explore and experience the river’s edge at a different season! The sites were clean and very easy to get settled into. We were the only ones there at the time but we enjoyed the peacefulness and the scenery. The New River Trail was easy to find and fun to get some steps in! Thanks to our host, Jim, for doing such a wonderful job having these sites available to travelers.
I love this camp! Outstanding views, large sites, quiet, and full-hookups. Easy drive to everything i wanted to do on the New River Trail.
