Peace Hill Farm is a working family farm with home-produced meat, crops, and wool: we raise Angora goats, Leicester Longwool and Merino sheep, miniature Holstein cows, draft horses, Mangalitsa pigs, ducks, and chickens. We sell raw fleeces, rovings, and a whole range of colorful farm-produced yarns. In the summer, we have pick-your-own orchard fruits. Our farm store carries a full range of farm products plus selected arts and crafts made by local artisans. We offer afternoon teas and dinners along with a full range of hand-selected wines. Farm tours run year-round.

Breathe it in!
What a camping spot when visiting this area of VA so filled with history. The young man we encountered on arrival pointed us to our camp spot. Everyone we encountered on the grounds was friendly and eager to share the story of Peace Hill. Peace Hill is a fitting name. The farm was beautiful and serene. We loved seeing the horses and sheep and Great Pyrenees. We had close access to a full bathroom and kitchen area for campers to use. What a good deal! We awakened one morning to watch dressage training with a young horse. Glad we came and would certainly come again if we pass this way.

Peace Indeed
I loved everything about staying here. Peace Hill really lives up to its name. If you want to get away from the city and be one with nature this is the perfect place. By the way, the stars were breathtaking!

We loved car camping at Peace Hill Farm. The animals were so cute and it surprisingly didn’t smell near the camp sites!! The bathroom and kitchen and community room had A/C and were kept so clean by staff. Walking the property was our favorite part, the trees and farm animals really made it for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to camp and be able to wash off after a busy day.

Peaceful at Peace Hill Farms
We stayed at #4 and it was perfect. Very secluded site and perfect for us. We were car camping and it was the perfect area with plenty of room and she even let us use the firepit there. The use of the hall was a huge plus to be able to wash dishes, use a restroom and even shower. We didn't need it but they even have a kitchen with oven and stove you are able to use. We spent the first day exploring the farm animals near the site and the second day walking the trails and the rest of the property. An excellent stay, we were even able to purchase fresh eggs from the farm, she answered all our questions and would definitely recommend. The price is more than fair for the amenities it provides. Highly recommend this site for a secluded get away tucked up next to the forest.

Fall asleep to neighing of horses!
It was a quiet spot well off a country road. I arrived near dark and was out by 8 a.m. Site 3 is a large grassy site right on the end of the building used for church services, which includes a super clean bathroom/shower. The grounds were well maintained with a beautiful flower garden. For protecting livestock, two dogs are tied on a rope/pulley in a permanent open air structure. The dogs will bark loudly during the night but not for long periods or too often. Another camper told me that they had walked on beautiful trails on the property.
