Great option for spending the night if you have activities planned in Charlottesville. The goats are very cute and so friendly. There is a very sweet cat and she’s fun to watch. The fire pit is big and when we went, they had kindling already in the pit and lots of pre cut that they said we could use- Though my partner had fun chopping up some dry fallen wood in the woods It’s a little bit noisy at night, you can hear the main road and the air brakes on some of the trucks going through. We were woken up in the morning by the neighbors mowing their lawn. There’s a really nice spot in the yard where the trees block out both houses so you feel Like you have privacy. This is right next to the entrance to the AT. You can’t beat the price for this location. The hosts were so friendly, but gave us lots of space and privacy. Would stay here again.

Brandy was an amazing host and our family enjoyed our first family camping trip. The cat always greeted us and followed us around to make sure we had the best time what a lovely host ;) The goats and chickens were a plus. We highly recommend Matt & Brandy’s property. It was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute. Our boys also loved the playground. We can’t wait share this with our family & friends.
