Let me say first and foremost that this is all based on expectations vs. reality. The host is fantastic and friendly and you certainly feel safe, but the one site we stayed at (not the pond one) was a little bit more out in the open and far less quaint/remote than I expected and the sound of 66 and the Bull Run gun range is VERY apparent, if not distracting at times. All in all we had fun for sure and the convenience, bathrooms and the pool were a nice touch, but if you're looking for a quiet experience where you feel like you're one with nature, this one feels a little bit more like you're out in the field at someones farm.

Great place we set up near our car and we walked the property for firewood. The pool was still cold but would like to come back in july when the pool is warmer.
