Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

We have 24 extremely private acres nestled in the mountains of Scott county VA, along side the beautiful clinch river. This property has water and power hook ups for a RV along with multiple sites for those of us who like primitive camping. There is a pole barn along side the river for those family cookouts and plenty over 600’ of river front to fish and swim in.There is over 600’ of river front available to tent campers along with multiple locations for those rare hammock camping occasions. The clinch river is know for its amazing fishing along with warm water temperatures to get in and cool off. This site is extremely secluded and perfect for family outings or group events

CLINCH RIVER AT ITS FINEST

Wonderful spot! Has all the features of a great river campsite experience (although hay grass is too tall right now). I felt transported back to the late 1700s when the VA frontier in this area was being pushed, explored, defended by Daniel Boone and many others... and btw, that is extraordinary American history to accompany a visit to the Clinch. You don't need a pamphlet - just read up online or better yet, get to the library.
