Romantic
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is romantic.
My land is easily accessible by main road, has ample parking, and yet cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife, fireflies and peepers are just outside the door. In the summer season, several organic farmstands and local picturesque swimming holes range between 5-15 minutes away. Autumn's glorious show is on display everywhere you look. Winter offers easy access to groomed VAST trails in the field behind the house and studio. Hopkins Center, AVA Gallery, the Lebanon Opera House, Northern Stage, and a wide array of restaurants are within 20 minutes. The Lyme bridge is now open, so there are more restaurants, trails, activities and the Dartmouth Skiway! Despite the proximity to town and even to my home, the simple studio space is serene in its sumac baby forest. The space is one of a kind, with a giant salvaged chapel window, cathedral ceilings, a candelabra, a clawfoot tub, a quirky outhouse, on-demand hot water, electricity and wifi. The site lists that it sleeps 4? But three is more realistic, and I cannot seem to change it.

We are on a main road that follows the Connecticutt River ~bring your road bike as cyclist adore it! We also DO have a giant old halfpipe on the northern side of our house with solar powered motion-sensor lights. It is available by permission. IG= @halfpipe_farm

Great spot with exactly what we were looking for! This was listed as in orange VT and was not so added some time to our travel which was unexpected. Sarah was helpful and responded very quickly!

We loved our romantic getaway in Vermont and particularly at Halfpipe Farm. The studio is a great little space, very comfortable, has all the essentials for basic cooking, and it was really nice to see the attention to detail! Also, the water pressure and warmth of the shower-head was unexpectedly great!
Turtle the cat is a super friendly creature and will definitely give you love.
