Great Location, But Not For Us.
Tent
Shari's land was very clean, nice, and cozy. Shari is a wonderful sweet host and helped me with my jump in the morning. I left the lights on in my jeep and the battery died. Thank you for coming to the rescue! I think it's important to note that Sheri's land is set up for a certain type of visitor who may be new to camping or needs a lot of amenities to be comfortable. I've been to 15 different hipcamps and it's hard to know how things are until you check out for yourself because everyone likes different things. Pros: I think this hipcamp is perfect for someone who wants to camp out close to Hamilton pool and riemers ranch parks. It's also great if you don't want to bring a table, water, hammocks, fire pit, water hose, etc because they pretty much provide everything for you. Cons: If you are seeking a total natural experience in nature without human construction or human interaction, this place is not for you folk. The campsites are relatively close to other campsites. You will hear chatter from other people and Sheri will be checking in on you which is lovely, but I know some folks here don't want to be bothered in their nature wellness. Some campsites are pretty small and tight and you may not be able to clear out all the things they provide for you so you can set up your own gear. I had to camp out by the main road. Honestly, my campsite had too much stuff throughout the site for me to move out, and I think some stuff was chained up to the trees so there was no way.

Tent
we loved camping on Sheri & Johnnie’s land! they are both so kind and exceptional hosts. as soon as we arrived, Sheri greeted us and gave us a tour of the campsites. as we were sitting up, Johnnie, came by to introduce himself as well. we felt very welcomed! there’s a good variety of sites to choose from and every site has more or the same amenities. all sites were clean & easily accessible. they have thought of everything you might need while camping. having a sink to wash dishes (dish soap provided) is such a blessing! the outdoor shower is surprisingly private and so relaxing. next to the shower, they have a wonderful porch filled with comfortable furniture and some books/games. (there are also some beautiful outdoor sculptures around to admire.) there are two sweet donkeys down the road, too. they are super cute & friendly. i fed them an apple :’) if you are camping Anywhere near this area, this is the campsite you should choose! we will definitely be back! 💛

Peaceful campsite
Tent
I had a fantastic time tent camping this past weekend. The owner, Sheri, was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. The campsite itself was good, with plenty of space for our tent and gear. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to Hamilton Pool, but you need to make a reservation in advance. We enjoyed exploring the nearby state park (Milton Reimers Ranch Park), which offered stunning views and challenging hiking trails. Overall, I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience. Sheri and Johnny were wonderful hosts!
