The overall experience was spectacular. The views that greeted us outside our windows each morning and as we sat by the fire at night left me in awe. Site was as listing described, well maintained and the hook ups are safe and simple. There was plenty of room to pull around and line up to back in. We were lucky enough to have the top of the hill to ourselves for the weekend. But even if there had been a full site (4 parking pads) we would have been just as comfortable to enjoy the view and our own space. The site is resonably located near a number of other fun and interesting things to do. I'd recommend the Ocoee Coffee and Gear shop for a morning caffeine or non-caffinated beverage fix. They're just a welcoming and friendly as the caretakers of site Alexander.
Getting up the last hill to the site was a little daunting at first as this was my first time taking my 25ft trailer and truck up an unpaved/gravel incline. (We're flat-landers from FL,lol) However, with an appropriately sized truck to trailer ratio I had little trouble making it up the hill even in 2 wheel drive. Had my trailer been larger, the 4x4 would have neccessary, but still doable. Definitely on the list to stop here again.
