Inclusion policyWe have a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination at Hipcamp. We are committed to helping our Host and Hipcamper communities be inclusive.
The Rusty Pheasant offers a serene and spacious camping experience with ample room between sites and lush grassy areas, making it a favorite for those seeking tranquility. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness of the amenities, the warm hospitality of the hosts, and the proximity to the Barron River, which is perfect for a quick dip or some relaxing riverside time. The communal areas, complete with fire pits and quirky features like a cinema room, add to the camp's unique charm, while the clear night skies offer exceptional star-gazing opportunities. However, some guests noted the occasional disruption, such as events that might break the peace, so checking in advance could be wise if you're a light sleeper.

This is a great place to relax. Large sites, some under trees, provide plenty of room for families or couples. Barron River is a short walk, plenty of birds around to spot and the Milky Way is visible on clear nights. Will certainly go back to Rusty Pheasant.
