Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Bring your RV/camper to a natural pond with fish, turtles, native birds, and other wildlife while staying within 25 minutes of major cities and convenience. Spend time with the rescue's animal residents including rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, and turkeys. Pull out an easel and paint a picture to last a lifetime. Explore the stream or take a leisurely boat ride around the pond. Must have own amenities including power sources and approved toilet. Please note that due to grading, you must park your camper/vehicle in the animal rescue's parking lot located next to the natural pond. You can walk over to the pond area, pitch a tent, and camp out over there, however, we do not want your vehicle to get stuck off-road. Additionally, you can visit with the animal residents as long as the visits are supervised by the property owner.Site 1 is situated alongside a beautiful natural pond where you can fish and use the on-site John boat (April through October only).
