So close to restaurants, stores, and highways yet it feels so far. The 2.5 acre property which slopes down into a peaceful valley, is surrounded by a private, well-kept forest and open space. There are two creeks, trails, and plenty of birds and wildlife. You will be in nature… but that’s the point, right?Designed specifically for Airbnb guests visiting Cranberry Township in the Pittsburgh Area, this listing includes a Guest Suite and Treehouse. The fully serviceable walk-in basement includes modern features and amenities, a comfortable king bed, black-out curtains, luxurious shower, and large entertainment area. The lovely Treehouse, nestled in a peaceful valley forest, has stairs to an exterior deck, a 1st floor lounging space with hanging chairs, and a small loft with a full-sized bed, cargo net, and balcony.
THE SPACE The goal of the space is to combine the physical comforts of modern accomodations with the physiological benefits of raw nature. Disconnected and steeped in a tree grove with babbling creeks, the Treehouse provides a “Shinrin-yoku” experience for your heart & mental health. Meanwhile, the Hideaway offers all of the amenities which connect your body back to the convenient world you know.
THE GUEST SUITE: The entire basement floor with self-entry access through the back French Doors enters a leisure hall with a pool table, darts cabinet, and foosball table. The master bedroom includes a comfortable king-size bed, warming utilities, and black-out curtains. There are smart home assistants in both rooms. A large great room with a sectional and 75” smart TV includes a work and play area with strong mesh wifi. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower and there is a clothes washer/dryer in the next closet. There is a breakfast nook with table, chairs, kitchen amenities, and staple appliances (no stove).
THE TREEHOUSE: A forest trail from the backyard of the listing leads to a 225 sqft treehouse circumferential a large laurel oak tree. A railed 3 ft wide staircase leads to a deck 12 ft off the ground with a seating area and door entrance into the treehouse. The 1st floor of the treehouse has 2 walls of windows to let in the light and relaxing forest view. There is a lounger, hanging chairs, table, and electric lamps. Next to the door, against the wall, there is a sturdy ladder which hinges down to a 45 degree angle onto the 2nd floor platform. On the 2nd floor, there is a double cargo netting to the right suspended in mid-air for a weightless experience. To the left, there is a small loft with a full-size bed for naps or night stays. The locked double doors open to a balcony on which you may roll out the bed to stare up at the leaves or stars. There is no running water or electricity in the treehouse but we can provide electric lamps, bluetooth speakers, and cell phone chargers.
CAMP RULES: There is a 3-night minimum stay. No smoking allowed in the treehouse, guest suite, or forest. Guests must use the basement restroom to relieve themselves.
