Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Learn more about this land: Courage mountain provides a space to rest, enjoy your privacy and connect with nature. You will be conveniently located to all the area’s attractions, including Ohiopyle, Falling Water, Nemacolin Woodlands and so much more. The provided area for camping is located on my private property and spare lot. I do not have hookups but a generator may be brought if you wish. I do have a hose if you wish to fill up your holding tanks but do not provide a dump station for travel trailers. Peaceful, Beautiful, Quiet

21 ft travel trailer

Mark was a great host - available for a visit, but also respectful of our privacy. This mountain is beautiful, and we saw deer, rabbits, turkeys, and other wildlife. Each morning and evening, several deer would make their way through the property. So beautiful and peaceful! Mark has several trails that traverse his 90+ acres. They are not improved nor are they marked, but they are wonderful to explore. It’s like walking through Jurassic park! Everything Ohiopyle has to offer is just minutes away. Biking, hiking. swimming, kayaking, rafting, fishing - so much to do there. We set up camp under a big oak tree, and our patio looked out over a meadow. Deer morning and evening, and then the fireflies start their show. A handful of restaurants in the area, and a Dollar General is only 2 miles away. The property has a few old sheds, and Mark is in the process of refurbishing the wonderful old farmhouse right next to our campsite. This was a great, private, quiet site for us, and we are already looking to plan another visit.

Beautiful area

Absolutely stunning. The area is beautiful and if you are looking for an exciting adventure look no further. An easy 20 drive to Ohiopyle for all the outdoor activities you could want. The property is well maintained and forested. Highly recommend.

Peace and quiet close to Ohiopyle

This is an awesome campsite. Quiet and peaceful. Conveniently close to all the fun stuff at Ohiopyle. Mark is a great host, very accommodating. I'm looking forward to camping here again.

We had an amazing stay at Courage Mountain! Mark was extremely accommodating and the space was very private! If you are ever looking to camp near Ohiopyle, I can’t recommend Courage Mountain enough!
