Our farm is a very special place in the heart of Portland. We have been farming continuously for 5 generations, since 1880! Our farm has seen many changes around us in such an urban setting. We focus on best sustainability practices as well as giving our local community access to agriculture. Sharing the land with fellow hipcampers helps us stay in business as well as continue to foster our positive impacts in the local community. Are you looking for the amenities of the city while also feeling away from the hustle? Visit on our historic urban farm in the city limits of Portland! 15 mins to hiking in the Columbia Gorge, and 15 mins to downtown. Vineyard lined parking sites, friendly goats, and wifi.
15 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to the Columbia River, 10 minutes to Blue Lake, 60 minutes to Mount Hood.
Our farm hosts private events and weddings on weekends in our main barn. We have a common area van camping site in our upper vineyard. You can expect some agricultural activity along with private events through the summer. We are additionally open to long term stays/caretaking for the right situation!

This was such a lovely little slice of tranquility among the hustle and bustle of the city. We really enjoyed our stay. It was short and sweet and Gabrielle made sure we had everything we needed. And the animals were an added smile. Our kids loved them. Thank you for sharing your farm with us!

Honolulu skiers find respite after
20 ft campervan
Loved our overnight. Even though the barn was in use for a birthday party, Gabrielle is so gracious and we had full access to all amenities. Plus she gives great recommendations for restaurants in the area.

Perfect RV spot for Portland
22 ft Class A
We had a great stay on Gabrielle’s farm - it was the perfect spot to visit Portland whilst in our RV. The amenities ensured we were very comfortable and we loved the cool, quirky site - not to mention our neighbouring goats and turkeys! Gabrielle was a very communicative and accommodating host - highly recommend!

The Farm in the City was a great location for visiting family in Portland. Our visit was brief but it was a good place to stay for a night. The indoor facilities in the little green house were clean and well kept. The outdoor porta potties near the overnight camp area unfortunately needed some maintenance and dumping. Being from a quiet, rural area it was a bit noisy for us due to proximity to 122nd, the freeways and the airport. Not unexpected but just something to consider when staying overnight. Due to the time of the year and the short amount of time we had, we did not take full advantage of the farm grounds or animals but the goats, turkeys and resident cat were super sweet. Overall I’d give it a thumbs up for anyone with a vehicle or truck camper looking to stay in the Portland metro area. It would be a great place to stay when attending an event at the farm. The barn looked pretty cool.

Easy access and enjoyable farm atmosphere.
I was thankful for the use of a clean bathroom
(flush toilet) and open space for my trailer.
