The Narrows Campground offers a clean and quiet environment, ideal for birdwatching and stargazing, with friendly hosts and essential amenities like a store and restaurant. While some campers found the tent camping area to be less ideal due to its proximity to RVs, others enjoyed the grassy plots and soft ground. The bathrooms and showers frequently receive praise for their cleanliness, though coin-operated showers and laundry facilities require extra change. Overall, it's a convenient stop for travelers, with a welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff.
In the middle of nowhere and nothing special, but it was perfect for crashing for the night on the way back to the airport. Only one other tent camper while we were there so there was plenty of space. Bathrooms were clean and hot showers were a bonus.
I’m really glad that I booked the Narrows for a 3-night stay. Tina was welcoming and friendly, the bathrooms with showers we clean and large and there was everything that you might need. The WiFi wasn’t great, possibly due to the fires but I would definitely stay here again.
Clean and quiet campground that's incredibly close to Malheur. We spotted lots of birds at the campground, including a common nighthawk that slept on the fence just outside our tent! The bathrooms were cleaned and well maintained. Despite booking the site the night before and before the start of a long holiday weekend, we were able to check in with the RV host and get the information we needed.
We definitely enjoyed the small plot of soft ground/grass for our campsite. If you camp in a tent, you’ll be next to a bigger lot for RVs but it wasn’t a bother. Very nice views and very friendly hosts. Food from the restaurant also smelled great!
