The Hen Nest private property is located in the midst of the Deschutes National Forest, nestled amongst numerous groves of pine trees, on a secluded road. As a personal guest you have access to our residential city water hookup and single RV electrical hookup onsite, and there is a central area with a city water faucet and 120v power for personal use.
Our Hen Nest private property is a quiet area with almost no traffic and woods surrounding the area. The property is surprisingly only 12 minutes (7 miles) from downtown SunRiver, and help provide all the amenities of the SunRiver area nearby.
From The Hen Nest, one can walk and hike the roads and nearby walking or biking trails, or travel to so many of the local attractions;
1) go to the SunRiver area and explore the tourist attractions and restaurants
2) explore the Tunnel River Caves,
3) hike the SunRiver Butte,
4) visit Mount Bachelor,
5) go for a casual float on the sleepy Deschutes River
6) go white water rafting on the Deschutes river as it wakes up north of Sunriver towards the town of Bend
7) go horseback riding along the Deschutes River
8) So many other outdoor activities that are available in the area.
Easy access to Bend, Sun River, and LaPine attractions. Communicative hosts who quickly helped us work through some electrical issues with our trailer. Quiet road with park-like setting, nice biking and nearby Deschutes river beach. Check this site out!
