Pack your essentials and escape to the Little Miami River Valley's best kept secret. Our off-grid cabin and tent campsite is situated on 14 acres along the National and Scenic Little Miami River. Once here, you'll park near our farmhouse on the upper plateau and take a 4 minute hike over the creek, through the meadow, and into the woods. *Driving to the site is an option if you have 4WD and the ground is not too wet. Exceptions for 2WD can be made if the weather forecast and ground conditions permit. As you approach the cabin and campsite/s, the trail opens up to an acre of green space shaded by large Sycamore, Walnut, and other native trees. Take a dip in the river, enjoy people watching as canoeist pass, or take part with a canoe or kayak rental from a nearby business (within 3 miles). The Little Miami Trail is also less than a mile down the road so bring your bike! Our composting outhouse is serviced between each stay, meaning it's emptied, sanitized, and like new for each new guest. There are two established campfire locations and a picnic table is provided. There's plenty of room for tents if additional guests are joining. If interested in having tents provided and set up prior to arrival, see add-ons. Add-ons available for additional purchase include mattress and bedding for the cabin, a propane grill, tent rental/setup, and firewood. This site offers several hundred feet of river frontage and comes with two designated fire areas, a picnic table, a composting outhouse, a hand station, and a 10x15 off-grid cabin. The cabin is located about 100 feet from the river. Inside you'll find a queen size bedframe (see add-ons for mattress and bedding options), a battery powered fan/light, a few games, and a foldable camp chair. The outhouse is about 50' from the cabin. If interested in having tents provided and set up prior to arrival, see add-ons. Other add-ons available for purchase include firewood, a propane grill, and a mattress and fitted sheet for the cabin (or a mattress and full bedding option).

Great spot
Tent · Group trip
Great stay with Hunter. It’s isolated, the river is beautiful and perfect for the warmer weather, and the space available on this land is equivalent to three camp spots. It was an amazing time for our group of four and our three dogs. Ps there is a bald eagle that has a schedule ~8-9am takes off down the river and then comes back in the evening. Very cool experience.

Beautiful, Rejuvenating Space
Tent · With pets
We are a four-piece band that played a show in Cincinnati the night before. We love to escape to nature and we quickly realized we couldn’t have picked a better place. Hunter is a great communicator, and since we were getting in when it was dark sent us a walkthrough video to get back to the campsite which was SUPER helpful. It was the quiet and serene space we were hoping for after touring in the cities and we definitely plan to come back. Waking up to the water was unreal. 10/10 recommend ⭐️

Such an amazing site for tent camping! The property and views are beautiful. We saw lots of Osprey and an eagle. The dogs loved having the room to spread out to play and swim in the river. Will definitely come back!

This campsite was exactly as described. Well taken care of w/ a clean outhouse containing a composting toilet. Enough space to spread out and shoot bows, fish, tube the river. The Battery powered outhouse light and fan were great touches. Hunter communicated with us through the whole process and greeted us for a moment as we arrived. 10/10 will return.

Camping by the River
Tent
This site is GREAT! The property is large, private, and right at the edge of the river. We spent a lot of time in the river and around the campsite. The adirondack chairs provided were very nice to have by the fire pit which we used every day during our stay. The host Hunter was very helpful during the entire process and very generous with his property. My wife said the site was perfect and just what we were looking for and that the outhouse was the best she had ever seen. The only thing to note is that you will need to bring your own drinking water as there is no potable water. A few expandable jugs worked perfect for us.
