Beautiful spot. Honestly no need to even leave, beautiful and huge camp site with surrounding woods to explore. The hosts were so accommodating. Plenty of firewood and a GIANT fire pit to keep it going all night. It’s a short, uphill walk from where you park your car and the walk is worth it because the view is sweet. If you do want to leave there are plenty of spots in the area to hike or site see. It is close to town so you can easily getting anything you forgot and need for your trip. It’s hard to find a private spot to accommodate so many friends and this is that spot! 10/10 would recommend.

A beautiful site with a welcome fire already burning in the big fire pit! Maggie was helpful and responsive to our calls. A wonderful place to spend time enjoying the outdoors.

Beautiful campsite!
This was our favorite camping destination so far. It's absolutely beautiful and the photos do not do it justice. Ed and Maggie are friendly and welcoming. They seem to have made their campground with a lot of love and have big plans for building it our further. We were at site 1 which had a huge fire pit and plenty of seating for at least 8 people. Also, plenty of trees to hang a hammock. We had full phone service (AT&T) although driving to the campsite there were patches of no service, so might want to make sure you have your directions downloaded in case. There was one other group of campers at another site for our first night, but for the second night we had the campground to ourselves. Make sure to add wood to your stay, or you can pay them in cash when you get there.

Great spot! Maggie had a baby while we were here and everyone was still really responsive and helpful. Great view of the surrounding mountains from our spot. Definitely get the tractor to bring your stuff to your site, We were at site one and it was still a bit of an effort to get our stuff up. Would definitely camp here again. 👍
