Plan a visit to the spectacular new Ashokan Rail Trail just 5 minutes away. 18 miles of amazing artist vistas. Home to best hiking in the Catskills. The well equipped, easy to get to campsite boasts, running water, electric, hot tub, shower house, screen house, picnic table, hammock and horseshoe pits. The essentials are at the site (cooler, camp stove, pots, utensils, lanterns, coffee pot, firewood and more). Interesting trails right outside your door. We added an outdoor hot tub to the site as well as a shower house. Bring your swimsuit! The shower house has a private side for the portable loo as well as a shower side with running water. You may not want to leave, but Onteora Lake in the Bluestone Wild Forest is great for hiking, swimming and boating. Our campsite is located only 5 minutes from Ashokan Reservoir where you can fish and boat. Bring your own camping gear or rent ours, the adventures are endless! Site guidelines Do enjoy the woods, respect nature and be considerate of noise curfews in our town. Do take all trash daily to the dumpster next to Uncle Pete's garage to avoid unwanted critters and Bears. Don't keep food in the tent with you, put it in your car.

The site had everything you could think of! It was a little difficult to locate initially but Jay was super responsive and helped us immediately. Lots of outdoor activities nearby and close to many things in Kingston. Outdoor shower was so nice after a long day of hiking and swimming.

Stonecutters Ledge

Stonecutter's Ledge is the perfect site for glamping! It is private, well stocked with all the essentials, and has so many great amenities - electricity, nets over the picnic tables to keep bugs out, basic cooking utensils, fire pits, a hot tub, a lovely outdoor shower, a toilet, a sink, a horseshoe set... the list goes on and on. The camp site is very well set up and it is local to so many great hikes. We had a very relaxing weekend. Jay was a great host and was very fast to respond to any question we had. I definitely recommend booking with him! You won't be disappointed!

Stonecutters Ledge

We had the best stay at Stonecutters Ledge. The site was very private and super well stocked. The canvas tent has a comfortable bed in it, another tent was set up with a blow up mattress, and a large fire pit and excellent outdoor kitchen set up. Jay was very helpful and communicative. I look forward to returning!

Great weekend

We had a great time this weekend at Jay's campsite! We loved all the beautiful and cool little details and the abundance of amenities. Great location with so much to see and do, I would definitely recommend it.

Forest Oasis!

We loved camping on Jay's very special spot amongst the trees. Seriously feels like a well kept secret that is almost too good to share. While close to everything you need in Kingston, Stonecutters feels very private and secluded. The shower setup is prime forest bathing, and the hot tub is a real treat! We loved cooking around the campfire and strolling in the trees. Definitely coming back to visit with a few buddies later in the season.
