Enjoy a retreat into the woods on Hawk Meadow Farm’s spacious 68 acres. We are a working farm who specializes in woodland mushroom cultivation, medicinal tinctures and earth based education. Our farming practices and products are based in Regenerative Farming, Chinese Medicine and a deep love and respect for the natural world, always striving to work in harmony with nature. This approach is a collaboration with the land which creates the conditions for plants, animals and people to thrive! Many of our campers have been delighted to discover the variety of song birds and other wildlife that they have seen just hanging out at the campsite. When you stay with us you will enjoy spacious, private campsites with a generous amount of firewood included in your booking! All of our sites can be accessed by car and located near one of two compost-style outhouses. We also have a farm store where you can find our products and we often have fresh shiitakes available for purchase. This is a place for you to reconnect with nature and recharge your spirits! We look forward to having you stay with us.

Steve’s farm was a great find! The site was a nice size and we had a lot of privacy. Table, benches, and supply shelter were nice additions! Convenient to get to Ithaca and Watkins Glen.

The Black Locust site was super beautiful and Steve was very helpful. We really enjoyed some of his dried Shitake mushrooms too! 5/5

We loved tent camping at Hawk Meadow Farm! The site was beautiful and clean and there were tons of little trails to walk around. Steve was super kind and dropped off some fresh mushrooms for us for a fair price. The bathhouse was also very clean. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Privacy Heaven
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Steve and Anne's. The location was far enough from the main property that I couldn't see anything but trees while at camp. Unfortunately, it rained more than not while there but FORTUNATELY, I was able to keep a fire going! THANK YOU! The ample firewood saved my trip! My plans were to explore the Finger Lakes region but w wet boots, it turned into a solitude in nature at camp. Tent, fire, and a few books. Heaven A few things to be aware of, the drive to the campsite has some foliage that will run down the length your vehicle. No scratches for me but I was a bit worried. Also, occasionally, you can hear some road noise, but honestly it becomes white noise after a short bit and it didn't distract from the feeling of being alone. I loved my 3 days there. I unplugged, disconnected w the world, and just sat w myself. Loved every second! Will visit again.

Steve's land is an excellent place to camp! The owners are kind and accommodating, and the shower is a great addition. We had a great time seeing the farm and would absolutely camp here again.

Had a wonderful time camping at The Pines site. It was a very private spot with fire pit and picnic table, nestled well into Steve's beautiful property. The shower in the super cute cob house was perfect for a hot day. Had a lovely chat with Steve about his mushroom growing operation too! Already talking about coming back someday soon!
