At El Ranchito, you will find a sweet spot to tuck yourself in on an historic land grant tract with beautiful Mountain views. We are nestled in the lovely valley, in Ranchos de Taos, close enough to town happenings and far enough to feel the peace of simple living. The campsite allows parking for a small van or camper or one vehicle. There is a lovely grassy area for pitching a tent. The property includes gardens thriving in season and farm animals. In our lovely outside kitchen, you can buy fresh eggs, garden vegetables, fresh goat milk and cheese when available. Or preorder seasonal fruit pies. We had a comfortable and peaceful time staying at El Ranchito! We appreciated Cristina's flexibility with the check-in time. Selma, the dog, was a welcome sight every time we arrived at the home and loved petting her! We would happily stay there again.

Charming Adobe near Toas
This was a super charming house. The bedroom was an old bus that is built right into the house. There is a full kitchen and a huge bathtub with hot water. The house was open with lots of airflow so I could hear the crickets and cicadas all night! My favorite part of the house was sitting next to the fig tree in the side room and watching the chickens forage in the yard. The house is on a little farm with goats, chickens, and ducks. Apple trees and flowers in the yard. It’s about 10 minutes from the downtown Toas square and hiking in Carson Forest. I was greeted at the door and shown around. Absolutely lovely hosts!

A Dreamy Stay in Taos, New Mexico
I recently had the pleasure of staying at an absolutely magical Hipcamp spot in Taos, New Mexico, and I can't recommend it enough! This hidden gem perfectly captures the enchanting essence of the area. Surrounded by a lush gardens, the property feels like a dreamy fairytale. The soothing sound of water trickling in the background adds to the serene atmosphere, creating a peaceful retreat where you can truly unwind. The mountains that encircle the farm provide a stunning backdrop, making every moment feel like a scene from a storybook. The accommodations don’t just meet your needs; they exceed them in the coolest adobe house built around a school bus. It’s such a unique and rad experience that adds a special touch to the stay. With plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beauty around me, I felt completely at home. Nestled just outside of town, it was close enough to dive into all the local action while still feeling blissfully away from the chaos. What truly made my stay unforgettable were the hosts, who are equally amazing! Their warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home, and they were always available to share tips about the area or simply chat about life on the farm. Good energy all around. The farm itself, with its friendly chickens, playful goats, curious turkeys, and loving dogs, brought so much joy to my stay. I truly felt like I was in my own little paradise, and I can't wait to return again and again. If you're searching
