Camp With is an endeavor to connect more people with the distinct features the high desert landscape has to offer and ultimately foster growth with ones relationship to nature. Bring your own everything (tent, sleeping bag, pillow, towels ) and come camp! We used to have tents which are in most of the images and reviews. No longer offering tents as an option. We are doing several small permaculture projects sprinkled throughout the land. There is a chance you could run into us building or planting something on the far side of the 15-acre property, but we like to give our guests privacy, peace, and quiet (how we would want to be treated ☺️). The unpaved road to the campsite is 3 miles and filled with stones, hence our street name, Stoney Road. We highly recommend a vehicle with clearance as there are some rocks on the road that are "oil pan busters." There are no street lights on the dirt road; we recommend arriving at the site during the day. After rainfall and during the monsoon season (May-September), the road can be very muddy. We don’t want you getting stuck. Let’s be honest here: high clearance and or 4x4 on your vehicle is recommended. There is a communal composting outhouse as your bathroom during your stay. We have an open air seasonal hot outdoor shower. (mid June-mid October) The greywater from your bathing feeds the plants. No toxic soaps please! We remind you that this is a rural off-grid campsite: there is no electricity. There is no tent. We have created this space for you to connect with your loved ones and enjoy being outside. The closest restaurants are in Cerrillos and Madrid, 8 miles away. You are responsible for your safety, tent, food, towels, water, ice, and relaxation. Come enjoy the impeccable views, INSANELY spectacular stars, and a genuinely unique, curated, off-grid camping experience. My husband and I are experienced campers. We have a 2 year old and a 7 week old baby. We had the camping bug, but we were not up to the challenge of set up and tear down with two littles in tow. Patience’s property was the perfect solution! The outdoor kitchen, glamping tent, and fire pit set up allowed us to pull up and start making memories! Our toddler loved to explore the property; although he quickly learned that cactus = owie! The tent was larger than I expected and comfortably slept the four of us plus our dog. The views were stunning and the sunsets were next level. Patience obviously has put in a lot of love and attention to detail. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The “loo with a view” and the shower added some extra comfort and luxury. We would love to visit again!

Had the most amazing stay here! Everything you could need was provided and it was so relaxing. The tent bed was so comfy and we used the fire pit every night! Perfect location to stop into Santa Fe and go horseback riding in. the town over. Already can’t wait to go back!!

We LOVED our stay. The location is perfect! We felt very private and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the desert. The camp itself is so cute, with plenty of seating and the perfect fire pit which was very easy to light for any level of camper. So many things were provided, and the campsite was very thoroughly stocked with supplies, utensils, and comfort items. The tent was super comfortable and adorable. Everything was very clean and every little thing was thought through. It is a bumpy ride in a secluded area and you have to keep a look out for the correct place to go. The tent can be noisy at night if it’s windy and you’re a light sleeper, but ear plugs can solve that.

This an absolute gem in the hills; never have I stayed in a location as different and special as this getaway. We definitely did not utilize the full potential of this site, but we will without a doubt, be back!

PERFECT Cozy Campsite!!

This campsite was an absolute dream come true!! The bumpy road was totally doable in our Honda Pilot, and once we arrived truly every single detail big and small was beyond perfect and so well thought out. The solar lights, the propane heater and plenty of blankets in the tent, the amazing heated shower, even the composting toilet. We had an absolutely wonderful time!
