Ragged Mountain / Eagle Pond Camp is located on a portion of Three Sisters Ecofarm, a 30-acre sustainably managed property with long-term plans to become a fruit, nut, and mushroom farm. The camp offers a feeling of privacy and seclusion while being really close to nearby amenities. The tent sites are tucked into the forest edge while the top of the hill offers 360 degrees of the surrounding mountains, including Ragged Mountain and Mt. Kearsage to the south and Mt. Cardigan to the north. The Danbury General Store is just a five minute walk away and offers a variety of goods and prepared foods. The Northern Rail Trail is just 0.25 miles from the camp and is great for biking and walking. In addition, other nearby points of interest within a ten minute drive include Waukeena Lake, Eagle Pond, and Ragged Mountain. The property has three tent sites available for use.
Loved camping here with our dog! Super private campsite, great fireplace, negligible road noise (other than cows!), and berry picking! Jamie was a fantastic host, giving us many recommendations for hiking and canoeing in the area! We’re very excited to stay here again!
Jamie’s land was a beautiful, quiet little area! It was nice exploring the area and being able to see the cows across the road. Near Ruggles Mine and right up the road from a fantastic little country store. Perfect place to camp!
