Nice bayou view
4 m campervan
The place has some good views of the bayou. It is an RV park with a couple of open slabs available to hip campers. It isn't totally private so you should know that going in. The slab was flat for my camper mini van. On sight they also have a full bathroom with a sink and shower inside the laundry building. I tried but unfortunately I didn't stay overnight, it was just too hot and humid at night so I needed to go to a hotel with AC, but that was in no way their fault, just mother nature. When I arrived I checked in at the bar. Everyone inside seemed nice and were enjoying their time staying at the RV park.

Beautiful property
7 m campervan
I was able to get in last minute and had full concrete-padded RV spot ready for me with all the hookups I needed. Plus, there’s a new building with bathrooms/showers in them too which was a nice surprise. Great property run by great people!

Wildlife & East Camping
4 m campervan · With pets
This could not be situated on a more beautiful part of land. Visiting in late November, I saw lovely waterfowl in the evening and morning. However, I wouldn’t recommend for tent campers, this would be a great spot for 2 weeks, an RV, and a boat! It was very dark and rainy when I arrived, making it harder to find my spot, just to take into consideration.

We stopped overnight here on our way to Gulf Coast from NOLA. Were able to drop n our kayaks in Souix Bayou from their boat launch for a late afternoon paddle. Pretty nature setting right past a residential area. Quiet & clean. Had a bar on sight and even though it was busy it was quiet!

Stay close to the I 10
9 m Class C
Would we go there again? Yes and No. If you are looking for a real Hipcamp place, with space etc. No But when you want a place close to the I 10 just for one night, Yes And if you go by tent it is also more difficult. It is a camping with weekend guests and small in size. The location is nice and why did we still like it: There is a little bar where you can drink a beer. With very nice people. You feel at home at ones.
