What more do you need than a private camping site and your 125' of your own pristine Lake Superior beachfront access? Well, there is the need of a fire ring so we added that, too! Everything else you will to bring to enjoy the million dollar views. Oh, and on the opposite side of the camping site is quiet slough which is great for smooth water paddling and exploring. Down the gravel road about 1/3 miles are logging roads to hike, bike and explore. OHV trails are a couple miles away but check local maps for detailed information. Intentionally being minimalists beyond a fire ring and picnic table, there is a port-a-john (of humble means) to make your stay comfortable. You will need to bring your own firewood if you desire a campfire. There is ample room for two tents, plus parking, or an RV and a tent, or so. The beach faces east for magnificent sunrise views and the sun sets over the slough. Stunning scenery is all around! There is one neighbor to the north and another seasonal neighbor 300 feet to the south. You will not feel pinched in. The driveway is right off the dirt road that has moderate traffic of vacationers during peak summer months. RVs may be parked on the left side or front of the property. Driving RVs in the sand may cause them to get stuck which happened once. Otherwise no trailers have been mired in the sand. The local area has many vacationing amenities including blueberry picking at Panchos, on the other side of the slough. Simply check the local tourist guides for the Keweenaw for information.

Beautiful location
Magical location. Absolutely beautiful. Enough space from the neighbors that we had plenty of privacy. Our dog had the best couple days of his life.

The location was wonderful, hearing the waves at night and morning, brilliant stars at night, and enough breeze so it wasn't too warm. We didn't see many people and enjoy feeling as if we are somewhat isolated. We took our canoe out on Lake Superior several times when the water was calm. It was so beautiful, you could see the bottom of the lake in deep water.

Maybe we got lucky but most of the other cottages around us were not occupied during our stay so it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. .

A wonderful place. Beautiful views with the biggest and most private beach you can hope for. We were here a year ago and having this beach brought us back. Nice new picnic table and fire ring. Dry level site and clean bathroom. An eagle family resides in view of camp. Stable flies were all over the U.P. this week no matter where you went. Nice swimming and gorgeous sun rise and sunsets. Will return.

Amazing but not perfect
What a beautiful campsite ! Amazing sunrises and the ultimate place for swimming! Great for kids and pets. Blueberries everywhere! Close enough to all the keewanaw has to offer! Now the downsides... the road was busy, a car every 3 to 4 minutes and since you are close to the road everyone has to look to see what your doing. Not so bad but it was dry and they kick up alot of dust and would cover the site in a cloud every time. Other bad news is that apparently no one wants to pee in the port-a-potty because the sand by the trees smells horrible when it warms up and unfortunately for us we set up our tent under those trees. Yuk! Nothing in life is perfect and you can tell the hosts care. Please take care of these sites so we can enjoy them in the future. Gentleman! Use the port-a-potty provider please!
