Wonderful time at Wonderwoods
3 m pop-up camper ·
We had a wonderful stay. Kristen is a spectacular hostess and went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable and the mini kitchenette and bath house were very well maintained and clean. The property is easily in walking distance from Rocky Gap State Park. You can get some road noise from I68 during but that is a minor issue, especially when compared to the spectacular view and relaxing atmosphere. The road noise would definitely NOT stop us from coming back.

A gem!
Gracious host, fantastic location. The watershed with its toilets and hot shower plus kitchenette was a little touch of luxury. Close to Rocky Gap state park. We fished and hiked, then spent the rest of the day relaxing at the campsite. Great site, great location, great host. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the camping site provided by Kristen. The directions were clear, as well as helpful info she provided on a detailed sheet (upon checkin). Very peaceful property, extremely safe & well organized. The bathrooms were located in a watershed that was super cute, functional & exceptionally clean. We appreciated our country camping experience as a great escape from our busy city life. She offered farm fresh organic eggs that we were able to grill for breakfast & took some home with us. I would highly recommend camping at her place as it is an idealic experience that will be sure to create a beautiful memory. Excellent location conveniently located inside the park.

Expect the Unexpected

Kristen provided an amazing camping experience. The surrounding was peaceful and lush. The trees were in full fall colors. The fact that we had the chance to have a warm shower and bathroom, was over the top, but to find shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower?? Wow! Wait, and fresh towels to use?? I mean, who does that? Kristen does! That’s who! Not to mention there was a fridge to put our leftovers in, as well as a fire pit and wood at the ready was beyond anything I expected. She was gracious, and so were her daughter and father. It was a pleasure to make their acquaintance! Thank you for an exceptional experience!!
