We have about 3 acres available to set up your, tent, camper van or small pop-up camper, there are many more acres to explore. Beautiful mountain views, close to Green Ridge Forest. We also have a brewery with craft beer brewed on site, Maryland wines and Western Maryland Lemonade. We have a small kitchen with pizza, soft pretzels and beer cheese and the like.
My 3 year old son and I had a great time! This was his first time camping beyond a backyard and he loved it. The brewery had great beer, music and food. The bathrooms/showers were up to date and clean.
We came back to camp for the Fire on The Mountain 25k and had such a great time! Tony and Denise are the best hosts and we can’t wait for our next visit! Bathroom/shower a quick walk from campsite and the brewery is a great place to stop in for refreshments!
We enjoyed our stay at the brewery. We spent an enjoyable Friday evening listening to live music, drinking beer, and eating pizza. The campsite was large. We only had a medium-sized tent, but a second tent would have fit on the site. Great location for exploring Bedford County PA: Buchanan State Forest, covered bridges, and historic Bedford, PA.
Had the place all to ourselves. Beers at the brewery are great. Campsite was nice. Pizza at the brewery was fantastic. Only thing I didn't like was the road noise from Rt 68. Its unfortunate that such an awesome brewery and place is disturbed by the road noise. I'm used to camping out west where you don' hear a sound.
Tony and Denise were very welcoming and accommodating. We had the camping area to ourselves for a night which was amazing! The warm showers, hot pizza, and delicious juicy ipa made for a enjoyable evening at the brewery which is just a short walk over. We lucked out with some live music as well. The brewery has board games, indoor/outdoor dining, a view, and this is where the bathrooms (on the lower level and separate entrance from the brewery) are located for the camp. Back at camp we enjoyed a nice fire with the wood Locust Brewery Camp provided for with a cash donation. Picnic table provided as well. We would recommend.
We had a great time camping at the Locust Post! The brewery is a bonus. Tony and Denise are great hosts
