Camping w/ Travel Trailer and Pups!
21 ft travel trailer · With pets
Nice private setting in the large back yard with trees surrounding and neighbors chickens keeping us entertained! There is a small orchard type setting with low hanging branches but our travel trailer was able to navigate without any issues. Water was not readily available but we were able to work it out. Would recommend a stay at this lovely location with your kind host!

Mixed feelings

We did not actually stay there. This was due to low hanging branches which could have harmed the air conditioner atop our Class C. However, the place looked very nice with plenty of space for a dog and a hike. The owner also very hospitable and helpful.

Kathy is super sweet and welcoming! There is an RV/camper next to the camping site that’s behind her house where you can use the bathroom. The backyard is really big and there’s multiple places to attach a lead to your dog so they can run around but Kathy also has a fenced in yard that is accessible to guests as long as her dachshunds aren’t out!! The neighbors have a chicken coup in their backyard which is about 50 yards away and the big buff rooster will definitely wake you up by 9am, but we didn’t mind, he was kind of funny. The location is perfect, only about a 12 minute drive to downtown Frederick. It was a great stay! Thanks Kathy!!
