Happy Owl Homestead is a small, no till, permaculture farm - working toward self sufficiency. We have pigs, goats, bunnies, geese, ducks, and chickens that are kept as pets and help us improve our soil and clear land. The property is partially wooded providing lots of privacy, and the remaining area is covered in garden space. We have a small orchard, as well as both perennial and annual gardens.

We appreciated the careful directions how to get to the site, including option to message. Stephanie is a very kind host. When we arrived late with our camper, she showed us the place and gave essential instructions, including the route to nearest food store. The large collection of home animals taken care for is fun to experience.

We loved our stay ! Very private and very special ! It’s a small permaculture farm/sanctuary and you have a chance to meet the animals and juts enjoy the nature. Very welcoming host. Highly recommend and will be happily back one day !

Stephanie's land was great. There was plenty of room for my motorhome. Having the animals to visit was a surprise and a wonderful BONUS!

We enjoyed our stay at the Happy Owl Homestead, I wish I had more time there. The farm animals were fun to hang out with. I'd like to have more time in the gardens and to enjoy the fire pit. Stephanie was a great camp host. I hope to visit again.
