We are located on an island off the Louisiana coast! Fishing and perfect temps year round. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. Fish the surf or bring your boat. Golf carts and UTV's are allowed to be driven throughout the island. Fall and winter NO CROWDS! We have a community pavilion with built in picnic table, fish cleaning station, small quite community not commercializedCome relax, fish, boat, ride UTVs/golf carts, enjoy our beach view, etc with us at the Oasis! Louisiana's only inhibited barrier island. With a bar and restaurant located across the street and grocery store 2 blocks away no need to drive unless you want to! Birders love to visit here. Fishing is superior!

The park was priced appropriately. The beaches in the area are very nice.

An ok stay with potential

Our stay was ok. The area was hit by a hurricane 2 years ago and they are still in the process of rebuilding. The beach was great if you didn't mind some of the trash. The site was ok but if you have littles, keep an eye out, some of the wood has near the site has nails sticking out. There weren't any bathroom facilities which made it tricky for us in our little popup but we managed.
