Welcome to Soggy Bottoms, a family-owned campground nestled in the woods along the Green River. We have a great location for fishing and kayaking with easy access to the river and plenty of room for the kids to play. Our campground has a variety of rv sites (full hook up, water and electric, water only), primitive tent sites, a bathhouse, and a camp store for your convenience. We also offer kayak and tube rentals. Come join us for your next outdoor getaway!

Spacious sites, owner very outgoing and friendly, clean, shower houses and toilets, river to play in, activities set up by owner, you can rent kayaks, had a small general store on location, town is only 10 miles away, you can fish, quiet for the most part

Nice primitive tent camping

Myself and the dog really enjoyed the tent area along the river. I was the only tent camper that weekend and it was nice having it to myself. Had a couple nice conversations with the host and I look forward to returning so as to see the ideas he has planned.

Not Exactly What I Expected…

Overall, it was a decent campground, family owned and operated, friendly folks. Our site was ok, but I wish the photos on the listing would’ve had a more accurate portrayal. Site 10 is right behind the bath house which made it very convenient with a teardrop camper, but also made for a lot of foot traffic, at times, right through our site. Also the bathroom ran out of TP twice; only one usable stall unless you have no legs or leave the door open. Otherwise it was fine, plenty of hot water and nice showers. I was a bit disappointed there wasn’t a clear access to the river, I walked the whole loop looking for it but all I found was people camping at every access point along the dirt road. We had to leave a day early but I wasn’t too mad about it, everything was soaked from the only big rain we’ve had in months and there’s a reason it’s called “Soggy Bottoms”. No fault of the owner though. If you don’t mind being close to your neighbors, it’s great, seemed like a nice safe place for the kids to run around. I just prefer a little more privacy. I would personally recommend Site 6 though, it looked nice and had woods behind it, probably the site they used for the photos.

I absolutely loved Soggy Bottoms. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Loved chatting with them and others. We had the tent area all to our selves and were able to set up feet from the river. Already talking about going next year if not sooner. Very dog friendly which is a plus.
