Our retirement dream is to share our beautiful property with people who love the outdoors. We started with our rustic tent sites and slowly added cabins. We go from primitive to sites with heat and air conditioning. We are not far from the Interstate but sure seems like we are as you travel the 4.6 miles of gravel road to step back in time.
This campsite offers a peaceful and relaxing experience with a variety of sites to choose from. Darlene, the host, is welcoming and attentive, ensuring guests are comfortable and informed about the area. Visitors appreciate the quiet, secluded atmosphere and enjoy activities such as hiking, fishing, and stargazing. However, some mention the need for caution on gravel roads, especially in wet conditions.
Overall it was a nice getaway from the city. You should definitely be sure to bring your own water and sleeping bags/pillows. The pictures made it seem like they were provided but I was wrong. Very nice hosts over all.
Linda, host, was exceptional. She forwarned us of rain. She was so helpful and accommodating. The are was clean. Port a potty was clean. It was a positive experience. We would definitely stay there again on refer a friend to this camp.
I loved this spot! So peaceful and private! She was very helpful and allowed me to pick a tent spot after showing the property! Would definitely stay here again
Fantastic place! We will absolutely be back. The views were amazing, the cabin was perfect for what we needed.
