Learn more about this land: You can camp, wander, head down the road to Viking Lake. Easy, relaxing and not too many rules. I don't do trash, unattended firepits or really loud gatherings past dusk. I love to camp but, this is our oasis. We also have outdoor dogs that help keep the coyotes and wildlife at bay. Nicki and her partner are the epitome of Hipcamp Hosts! They went above and beyond to help me out of a self-induced pickle, truly turning around my stay! Their property is a gem; it’s peaceful, private, and has a view of historic Stanton, Iowa! 🤩

Two Old Hoes on Hippie Hill
My dog and I enjoyed camping in a teardrop at Nicki’s place. There is a nice 360 degree view of rolling hills. Nicki and her partner were extremely helpful when my friend ran into some issues. Everyone we spoke with in town were very nice and offered some recommendations. I highly recommend this spot!

My partner and I stayed one night during a trip towards Des Moines. The camp site was beautiful. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property and kind women
The hosts were lovely and welcoming! Very kind and helpful, and were communicative. We enjoyed our night here and will be visiting again!

So peaceful and could see so many stars on top of the hill! Found fire wood on the land! Hosts were extremely nice and helpful.
