This custom designed glamping lodge was a dream of mine for a long time. I wanted a place to go to unwind and be with one with nature. But! wanted it close to town so I do not have to travel far and still be close to the city attractions. The lodge backs up to a large hill--called the Loess Hills. Many deer, raccoon, possum and turkey call it home and so does a few pets of mine to include a mini horse and goat. They just love being adorned by new people. I think you will find this a perfect place for a good nights sleep. Learn more about this land: --Enjoy the deer setting amongst the tree's and nature. Hiking trails close by. Come enjoy a relaxing experience close to the city, the zoo and other attractions. MOST dogs are welcomed -- BUT need to be approved first! before booking. ADDITIONAL FEE REQUIRED> Walking trails close by! and restaurants. Verify with host before booking please. The bathroom/shower is located across the yard in the lower level of the main house. My boyfriend and I loved staying here! Super cute, and comfortable place. It was also very clean and we will definitely be back! Rob was quick to respond and friendly. 5/5 stars!!

Hit the Sweet Spot!

This spot is the perfect cross between camping and a hotel. Clean bed and bug free place to sleep and hang out but feel like you are still one with nature! The artifacts and decor give such a great vibe! Highly recommend!

Second Stay - Highly Recommend

Second stay at Arrowhead Lodge. We were in town for my son’s baseball tournament and the College World Series. It was great to be an easy 15 minute drive to the middle of everything and then be able to escape to complete solitude in as much time. Clean, quiet, cool (love the AC) and secluded. Rob is a great host and the space he has created is worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly private and cozy little getaway. Despite the lodge being in the host’s backyard you are quite secluded. Using the bathroom/shower in the main house basement seems a little awkward at first but it actually works fine. The host was accessible yet respectful of privacy and gave us recommendations for food, activities… positive experience overall for sure.

Magical little getaway

Cozy welcoming end to a long day on the road. Loved the goats and wild turkeys in the yard and falling asleep to fireflies lighting up the night.
